Founder and Principal, Mora Munoz Partners. Two decades across investment banking, corporate finance, and fintech in North and Latin America.

Carlos E. Mora is the founder and principal of Mora Munoz Partners. Over more than two decades in investment banking, corporate finance, and fintech, he has advised companies, financial sponsors, and financial institutions across North and Latin America on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and strategic capital initiatives.
His perspective on capital structures and negotiations was shaped across the full spectrum of transactions: early-stage venture financings in fintech, middle-market corporate deals in sectors such as oil and gas, and large-scale multi-billion-dollar M&A mandates. The arithmetic changes with the zeros. The discipline does not.
He has worked from several vantage points across that career, as advisor, as entrepreneur, and as senior finance executive. That combination lets him approach a transaction with analytical rigor and with an operator's understanding of how financial decisions land inside a business once the deal is closed.
He writes All on the Line, a series of essays applying rigorous mathematics to complex financial systems. The column takes its name from how he works: no guarantees, no inherited position, a name worth what it earns week by week.
